Just a FYI incase anyone's looking I plan on posting today and yesterday's challenge posts but need to be able to post links and my phone and iPad won't let me. Which means I have to turn on my dinosaur computer and we are having issues ... But they are resolved and I'm going to bed so the challenge posts can wait until tomorrow :)
I'm sure no one noticed but just in case ;)

Summer Blog Challenge day 39
Pet Peeves:
I used to have a lot of pet peeves, just little things that bothered me that sometimes I didn't realize bothered me until others pointed it out. lol
So I tried to think all day of what they were and if they still bothered me. But I find it's not until it happens that I really realize its a pet peeve.
So here are a few things, I know there must be more....
*Loud breathing. This one really bothers me for some reason. Makes me mad even, I just can't stand it.
*Fork biting. Makes me cringe and I blame my stepdad he used to complain when people did it.
*Joint popping, and teeth grinding. Enough said right? If not see above.
*Cap locks typing. It should only be used to eventuate a point or highlight a key detail. How do you even type a whole paragraph "accidentally" in caps? You can't so just don't do it :)
*People using the word ignorant incorrectly. I'm not going to define it now, but there's a good chance you are not using it correctly so look it up please.
I know there's more ... But if I told you all of them you might think I'm crazy. A

Weekend Recap
Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a nice weekend, ours was pretty busy but I like it that way since my weekdays are spent just me and MV at home (someday we will have a second car and I will be free again...)
Friday MV and I hung out at home in the morning while hubby went to do a side job he's been helping a friend with. He wrapped it up early so we could then go out to a friends cottage. I have no clue what lake we were on but it was nice. There's something about being near water that just feels comfortable, I would love a house with a view someday.
Hubby did a little fishing.
I love watching a sunset over water
Saturday MV and I did errands. Hubby had a bit of a heart attack when he saw how much money I spent but we needed some essentials like shampoo, toilet paper etc. I find the bill is always so much higher when you need non food items. We are thinking of switching to Costco brand toilet paper I've priced it out and it's the same price as when I buy Charmin (I always buy on sale). Costco always is a high bill but at least when I shop there I can stock up on things.
Saturday evening we went to a friends housewarming, there were tons of people and it started late (7:30) but MV did great and even had a snooze while being cuddled. We stayed until almost 10pm.
Sunday we went to Hubby's aunt and uncles house for a swim and BBQ. It was a nice relaxing day and we were home by 6pm. Dinners there are usually early which is nice so you can still go home and relax.
Hubby got a chance to swim with MV in the pool. MV enjoyed it a lot more than last
timeHubby, MV, Baby N, and Hubby's cousin
MV decided having a bottle Sunday wouldn't be so bad after all. He hesitantly drank 1oz Saturday morning too. I really hope this is a good sign!
I hope everyone had a good weekend :) I'll post my challenge post later this evening, today's topic is pet peeves... I need to really think of these

Summer Blog Challenge day 38
Lyrics that have meaning to you:
I considered posting our wedding song but decided to take another approach to this one. This song has been a favourite of mine for many years, I find that over the years the lyrics have taken on different meanings to fit my life at that moment. I think that really makes a song a great one personally, it grows with you.
Nelly Furtado - Try
All I know
Is everything is not as it's sold
but the more I grow the less I know
And I have lived so many lives
Though I'm not old
And the more I see, the less I grow
The fewer the seeds the more I sow
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
I wish I hadn't seen all of the realness
And all the real people are really not real at all
The more I learn, the more I learn
The more I cry, the more I cry
As I say goodbye to the way of life
I thought I had designed for me
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
I'm all I'll ever be
But all I can do is try
Try
All of the moments that already passed
We'll try to go back and make them last
All of the things we want each other to be
We never will be
And that's wonderful, and that's life
And that's you, baby
This is me, baby
And we are, we are, we are, we are
Free
In our love
We are free in our love

Summer Blog Challenge day 37
*I realize it's after midnight and technically I missed a day but I'm not asleep yet so it's still My Saturday ;)
Something you would attempt if you knew you couldn't fail:
....
....
....
....
Some of these topics requiring more thinking than I want to do this late at night.
....
....
I'm stumped.
I suppose even if I don't answer the question this still counts as my daily post ;) that is after all the point of me doing this challenge.
...ummmmmm....... *thinking really hard but drawing a blank* .....
I know!
I would quit Nursing and start my own business. I'm not sure exactly what kind of business, I haven't decided what I could do enough of yet to have a business but it's something I do daydream about :)
Alright bed time ! Night!

Summer Blog Challenge days 35&36
Day 35: A fear you have:
I find as I get older I become more fearful in general, I think maybe when I was younger I was oblivious to all the potential danger and scary things the world has to offer. I don't like talking about my fears actually, I feel like if people knew them they could abuse that knowledge. You might wonder who would do such a thing? I don't know but it could happen! lol
I will tell you one fear is of falling. I fall a lot, so I often worry about falling, especially if I'm up high, or my hands are full, near water such as a lake, or carrying MV ....
Day 36: A holiday tradition you have in your family:
Hubby and I decided we are going to start our own traditions now that MV is here.
We are very excited for this :) Holidays usually are stressful because they involve lots of driving and staying with family, busy busy busy.
One tradition we do enjoy is boxing day with hubby's family. His whole italian family. His dad, and siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
It's a lot of people, the location changes as everyone takes turns hosting. There is lots of good food and a gift exchange game. Its one thing we will for sure keep doing, maybe one day even host it ourselves. :)
